About Us

Harrison Salmon Associates was formed by Karen Richardson in 1992. The practice has since expanded from it's Chorley base, with offices at  Standish, Great Harwood, Preston, Leyland and Leigh to service the North West region.

Background

The business started in premises on Queens Road in Chorley. In 1997 Harrison Salmon acquired Victor Stanley Accounting and relocated to 22, St Georges Street Chorley to accodate the expansion. In 1998 it acquired Marsh and Co, an accountancy firm based in Standishand opened  its second  office. In 1999 the company ventured into consultancy offerering Technical and Management consultancy services to all.  In 2003 Frank Dobson Accountants Gt. Harwood  and Vic Johnson accountants in Preston joined the practice. Both Frank and Vic continuing to work within the business. In 2004 a branch office in Leyland was opened to build on the rapidly growing reputation for professional accounting services.   In 2005 the latest acquisition expands the network south once again with the incorporation of Caulfield and Co at their Leigh Office.

It's success is based upon a reputation for first class quality and service which has been extended throughout the network of our branch offices. Each office is headed by a Branch Manager together with dedicated accounting staff.

h s a's commitment to supplying competitive accounting and taxation services quality and service within its North West local branch offices has been enhanced by the empowerment of committed staff and a powerful infrastructure which ensures consistency. This has recently been endorsed by the Investors in People Award bestowed on the company in 2005.

As part of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants ACCA the company is registered to perform Financial Audits and is also an Approved trainer for accountancy personnel it�s compliance to train staff to the highest level.
